Currently, Show Chwan is providing high-quality medical services to the northern region with the Taipei Show Chwan Hospital, the central region with Show Chwan Memorial Hospital and hushang Show Chwan Hospital, Chang-Bing Health Park , and the southern region with the nation’s first privately managed public hospitals -Tainan Municipal Hospital and Kangshan Show Chwan Hospital. Show Chwan is also actively preparing for the establishment of Show Chwan College of Nursing and Medical Technology as it strives toward research and teaching.

Future prospects
To transform hospitals into a “health mall” is the ultimate goal of Show Chwan Health Care System. In addition to treatment for acute diseases, Show Chwan will reinforce disease prevention and health maintenance to combine with comprehensive healthcare services covering chronic diseases, critical care medicine, homecare, care for elderly people, provision of medical supplies, and a nursing college. Show Chwan will also devote itself to changing the inhuman stereotype of hospitals by including in the hospital design a business space involving food, clothing, housing, transportation, education and entertainment in order to turn hospital livelier and more natural.
Based on the mission of “treating patients as family”, Show Chwan delivers more services that are convenient and beneficial to citizens; learns the advantages of others and connects with the world in order to surpass competitors with continual efforts.
Chang-Bing Show Chwan Health Park
Chang-Bing Show Chwan Health Park has been designed with the goal of becoming a “health park”. Intelligent buildings and modernity are the main concepts behind the design. Western technology is combined with traditional characteristics to create structures and space with a global outlook and local features, creating a genuine health park for first- rate health care in Taiwan. Similar to staying in a hotel, patients are provided treatment, food, clothing, living areas, transportation, education and entertainment as part of a unique and holistic health care experience.
Chang Bing Show Chwan Health Park featuring health examination center, SPA, food and shops, medical museum, Art & Human museum, movie theater. Contributed considerable funds on high tech medical equipment, such as PET/CT, Gamma Knife…etc. Technology automation processed facility with hotel management characteristic provide a better medical environment to public.
International medical exchange
Show Chwan spares no pain to participate in international medical exchange and has been engaged in international medical practice for many years. Dr. Chien-chih Lin is a rather famous example for his invention of the endoscopic sympathetic block by clamping (ETSC) which has officially been used since August 2000. We also actively participate in medical and travel fairs home and abroad (Dubai, Fuzhou, Taipei and Hong Kong) and the ICDF Medical Mission to Nauru for two consecutive years since 2006 to promote diplomacy through medical practice.
Achievements in international medical exchange and teaching
In terms of international medical exchange, Show Chwan invites overseas prominent physicians every year to give clinical instruction at Shown Chwan hospitals (details as shown below) in order to improve the medical standard through learning and teaching. Also, Show Chwan has sent system medical, medical technology and nursing groups to join the ICDF Medical Mission to Nauru for two consecutive years to provide them with 2-week free medical services and clinical instructions. The mission has successfully promoted the medical friendship diplomacy, and Show Chwan has won praises from Nauru.
